R12.1 RUP10 OAB benmangle question

The below is happening in our Canadian business group;

Can anyone help me understand how the nightly benmangle process handles life events that are updated 1 month after the data change?

Example; the End Employment record is updated on 06-Feb-18 for a 05-Jan-18 actual termination date.  The Life Event Occurred Date is 05-Jan-18.  The Participation Process: Life Event effective date is 06-Feb-18.  The Termination life event gets Detected but it does not process.

Any idea why the 05-Jan-18 Termination life event is not processing?
