What is Backflush transfer in the subinventory transfer screen

Hello,

We use Oracle inventory module and are on 12.2.3.

When you navigate to the subinventory transfer screen >you notice two types once you open the form one is subinventory transfer and the other is backflush transfer.What is the use of this backflush transfer?Does it work like subinventory transfer?
