Australian Tax of Lump Sum Payments
We regularly pay employees various lump sums e.g. Cash out of an Entitlement or a Bonus. According to the Australian Tax rules these payments should be taxed according to the Schedule 5 - Tax Table for back payments, commissions, bonuses and similar payments. At present, we have to pay them via an interim pay and then manually override the tax after performing a manual calculation outside the system.
Is JDE Payroll capable of calculating the tax correctly for us (i.e. so we don't have to manually override the tax calculated)?
Can we process these payments in the normal pay run?
