Modified JDE UBE Version to print .csv - Will ESUs still apply to the version or will they require a

I changed a UBE Version to default output to .CSV instead of PDF.  Since the change required going into Report Design I'm wondering if this will affect any future ESUs.  Since there are no Event Rule changes or variables or report layout changes will the ESU apply to this version as well or will it have to be retrofitted?
