Is it possible to use the same instance number for EAM assets

Hi All,

Is it possible to use the same instance no for asset number.

Requirement;

I'm importing the location code (100401) from property into EAM. In EAM the Asset Number, Asset Serial Number and Instance No in stalled base is created with the same number. i.e. 100401.

The Organization where we are implementing Oracle Property and EAM, they are already used other Items (Installed base enabled items). When we import the asset in EAM, we receive an error - instance is already in use.

Is there any possibility to retired the Instance No and again use the same instance no.

or any other workaround for it.
