AR to GL Reconciliation Report Data Security not Enforced in Cloud

We are on Cloud v12 - we noticed that when we run the AR to GL Reconciliation report, users are not limited to drill down details based on their context security. For example, a user who has AR access to one BU, is able to view the AR to RECON report but also drill down into details and view data for BU's for which they do not have access.
