Need information on CVE-2012-1769

edited Feb 13, 2018 5:48AM in Database Install/Upgrade/Opatch (MOSC) 2 commentsAnswered

A remote code execution vulnerability has been reported in Oracle Outside-In. The vulnerability is due to a heap buffer overflow while handling specially crafted JP2 files. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by enticing a target user to open a specially crafted JP2 file. Successful exploitation would allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

I have been reported about this vulnerability by the in-house scanning team along with the above mentioned CVE.

So need to get some details of CVE-201201769.

Where can I find it please?

Thanks & Rgds.
