AR Transaction Sequencing (batches of 20)

Morning all.

We have been live on 12.1.3 since April 2017 and have just noticed that our Transaction Numbers are jumping in batches of 20

Based on some work from a long time ago, I thought

  • We could use Note 428561.1 to Set Cache size to zero. Our partners are telling me this is not a good plan & might not have the desired effect. Any thoughts?
  • Alternatively, I could use note 197212.1 as guide of how to progress. The way I interpret this is, it would work if we did it before we went Live. But if we wanted to do this now we would need to create new Transaction Batch Sources and New Transaction Types (amongst other things). Again, anyone have any views on this?
