Combining PM associations and maintenance routes

Hello, I have a question about preventive maintenance when using both associations and maintenance routes.

We do a weekly inspection on a group of assets and then every four weeks we do a more detailed inspection. Currently I have set up separate service types for the weekly and ‘monthly’ inspections each with their own model work order. These service types are then associated so that on the fourth week the work orders are combined and only the ‘monthly’ WO is produced.

This is done on the same group of assets each time so I was looking at setting up a maintenance loop. The work orders are still generating as expected but when I look at the PM backlog I get a PM record of maintenance due for both service types on each asset. I’m guessing this is because the work orders are combined in the association but is there a way to only get a PM record for the primary service type?
