Runtime Event not working in Siebel Portlet

Dear Experts,

We have one view which is exposed to external application as Portlet. We have created a Runtime Event on the BC of this View which is not getting fire on the Portlet, however the RTE is getting fire on the same view within Siebel. Could you please guide us how to fire RTE on Siebel Portlet (Open UI).
