Asset Number Serial Number

We are using 12.2.5.

Have Auto-Generate Serial Numbers defined at the Org level.

When creating an Asset, once the Asset Group is entered the Serial Number fills out correctly. So for example, we defined starting number on the Org Parameters screen as 1000. After manually creating 3 assets (Serial Number 1000, 1001, 1002), the next serial number that would be generated for an Asset is 1003.

We were just wondering where that serial number is stored...essentially, if we were to write a query to see that 1003 is the next Serial Number to be used is, what table/field would we query on to see this.
