BIP upgrade from 10g to 12c or New installation to BIP 12c?

Hello Team,

We have existing Oracle BIP – 10.1.3.4  integrated with Siebel. Approximately usage is about  10 reports.
We need to upgrade BIP to 12c.

Based on my knowledge, BIP 10g to 12c would be a two step upgrade, like 10g ->11g then 11g->12c. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Would it be possible to go with BIP 12c new installation and then upload the reports & related files from older BIP10g version to 12c?

As we have just 10 reports, volume is less, would it be feasible?

Please suggest best approach.
