Fields in Requistion Selection Not Available

We are using Special Request functionality in PeopleSoft eProcurement, and are having issues in Requisition Selection when the supplier item id /mfg info is incorrect, those fields are not viewable without going to the requisition and they are not editable if corrections are needed, however Supplier ID, Price, UOM, etc.  are editable.  Any thoughts without customizing?
