QOH rounding issue causing wrong Weighted average cost

edited Mar 5, 2018 4:01AM in Distribution - JDE1 (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

Hi Guys,

I have a problem with my weighted average cost. We have a customized batch report to correct the WAC which uses the formula WAC=Inventory Value/QOH. The problem here is that for the concerned item we use dual UOM and have defined the UOM conversion upto 5 decimal places but F4111 (and in turn the QOH in F41021) rounds off the quantity upto 3 decimal places only. so actually the WAC which is calculated is incorrect. How can I rectify this?

Also, I tried to do an Inventory adjustment to see how the standard system behaves. What I see is that the system is considering only 3 decimal places while calculationg the WAC online. Please guide me.

Howdy, Stranger!
