Custom grid missing available column(s)?

We're running Apps version 9.0 and tools 9.1.3.7. 

We have a custom JDE Interface.  Many users have custom grids for this interface.  I have a few examples where columns that are defined in the form are not showing under Available Columns in the Customize Grid screen if we go to modify an existing Grid Format.

If I use "Show All Columns" grid or Create a new custom grid the column(s) show up, but if we try to modify an existing custom grid it's not there.
