How to rename standby database as like primary

Hello Team,

We dataguard set up in one of the database and it's working as expected. Now the requirement is to switchover to standby database and then we have to rename the standby database as like primary database and DG set up can be removed then. The database is of version 11.2.0.4 and running on Exadata X6-2 with 12.1.0.2 cluster. Please suggest the best or recommended steps for this. Also we need to ensure the datafile location should as per Oracle standard during and post rename of database.
