What is the scenario where DIST_LN.GL_DISTRIB_STATUS is set as 'H' ?

There occurred a scenario where accounting entries are set as H in DIST_LN record. We need to know the reason for the same, is there any scenario according to which PeopleSoft sets the accounting entries in AM as hold ?
