Is Apache Web Server Compatible with OAM Webgate?

Hello Community,

We are using the OAM webgates with our Siebel environments. We understand that these are not certified with Apache Tomcat for IP17. We have been advised by Oracle Support to use reverse proxy on another webserver where we could then put the webgate.

One of the servers we are considering is Apache. I have reviewed the OAM certification document:

I filtered the document based on our OS version, Windows 2012 R2. In the column titled "Web Server Version" there is listed this statement, "Oracle HTTP Server 11gR1 (11.1.1.9) based on Apache 2.2.x".
