Project Costing Recon with GL Balances- Variance issues

Accounting team does month end recon for the project related  balance sheet accounts with GL balances. We have tried multiple queries but we are unable to provide the what is there is Project costing to tie with GL balance it is always Projects has more cost than the GL. We did various checks whether any got stuck or not transferred but still we ended up with variances. The  ask here would be able to provide any guidance regarding is there any standard Reports will help in Project costing vs. GL balances.

Any help or recommendation will be really appreciated .
