Can we have different product with same lot number

Hi,

We want to sub lot our items. i.e want to have same lot number and maybe diff. child lot number.

Over view :

Once the product is finished its meant to be shipped to different location and for this reason we change the item code. eg. Product A becomes A1 , A2 or A3 depending on where it will be shipped.

We would like to maintain the same lot number as for finised product A but add child lot number to these new codes.eg. if A belongs to 666 lot then rest should be 666-1, 666-2 or 666-3.

Challenge:

Our system are customized hence we cannot generate same lot number even if different items
