HFM Intercompany module vs Calc Manager Eliminations

Hello, we are currently not using the Intercompany Application Task in HFM. All intercompany account eliminations are done via Calc Manager scripts. The current process works fine, but we're curious about the module and the oversight it provides. The concern that I have, unless I misunderstand the Oracle documentation, is that it requires an entirely separate load process from the exports coming out of FDMEE? If that's the case, then I don't foresee us making any effort into rolling this out, as it's challenging enough getting over 40 load entities with a variety of source GL systems to submit financials
