3 OEM STIG questions, one FIPS 140-2 Sessions, and two logging questions

Doing the generic application DOD Stig for OEM and there are three questions I do not have the answers to so hopefully someone here will know.

1. STIG ID: SRG-APP-000108-AS-000067

Can OEM be configured to send an alert in the event OEM has a log processing failure?

--There are two types of logs I know of, the audit logs which write to the database which you can also have write to a database directory, and the actual web logic logs.  I do not believe there is a way to alert on these failures, am I wrong?
