Can you name an excel sheet using RTF template?

We are on JD Edwards 9.1 Enterprise. I am creating a Excel Sheet using RTF template.  The BI Publisher version is 12.2.1.3.0.  installed on my desktop. I can test and get the sheet name correctly, but when it runs on the Enterprise server, It produces invalid data in the name.  I read some previous post from 2014 that stated that it was not possible to name a sheet in RTF templates.  Is that still correct for 2018?
