Changing Chart of Accounts(GL Key Flexfields) in an implemented system. r12x

Hello Gurus,

We have a "Must Have" type of requirement to alter the GL Chart of Accounts structure of an already existing/implemented Oracle EBS r12 system.  This system has been under operation doing business since past 10 years.  We only have Oracle Receivables modules and we are not using Oracle GL(yet).

We have following Segments.

  1. DEPARTMENT
  2. SUBDIVISION
  3. FUND
  4. FUNDING DETAILS
  5. OBJECT
  6. REFERENCE

Here are our needs.

1. Increase the current width of SUBDIVISION segment width from 2 to 7

2.Increase the current width of FUND segment from 3 to 10.

4.Rename labels of all segments (for e.g. label "Department" to change to "Operating Unit").
