Siebel Visibility - Position and Creator predefault logic

Hello Guys,

I have a requirement, where I need to blank out the Position MVF on Account or Opportunity BusComp in Siebel when a new records is created.

Currently, Siebel is predefaulting the logged in user to the Position MVF and we do not want this.

We want the end-user to select the values in this Position based MVG and then proceed with saving the record.

Can you advise

a) Why siebel pre-defaults the creator into the "MVF" field for Position - My guess is that this is for visibility sake, that the newly created record should have at least 1 team member (position) assigned.
