Delete or retire CIP asset ? Pls advise

Hi All,

We have a case where - an asset was first added as a CIP, now our customer is revoked the contract and returned the amount to us.

In such a case what would be the best practice - delete this CIP asset ? or retire it ? such that there is not be any affect on the system / accounting.

If delete, then what steps do I need to follow ? Please share your opinions.
