openssl.cnf is mandatory or not.

Hi everyone,

openssl.cnf is mandatory or not. I'm trying to configure  xcenter in my system followed by implementation guide 16.0 version. Why openssl.cnf file is useful and for what purpose we are using, should i create this file or not.

before that i've created this files in c:\ drive

md c:\cert\sslcert

cd c:\cert\sslcert.
