Fixed Assets not accounted on the basis of the accounts assigned at categories only for one major ca

Oracle EBS is implemented for the first time. Historical data has been entered for one  full year for 2017 as Journal entries in GL. Since there was reclassification in Fixed Assets, the fixed assets were only added in the period of January 2018 through fixed assets module. 2017 closing balance did not have a fixed asset category of Software. But after re-classification of assets, computer & equipment's was segregated into Software and computer & equipment. When create Accounting program is Run after adding the assets, the assets are capitalised but the assets in the category of software is not taking
