Should I use "tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs size=... 0" expression in /etc/fstab file before install Oracle D
Hello everybody!
I am trying to install new (for me) Oracle Database 12cR2 for evaluating. Should I prepare my Oracle Linux 7.4 for using with new Database release by inserting string "tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs size=... 0" in /etc/fstab file? In 12cR1 I was need to do it for use Automatic Memory Management with RAM more then standard 4 Gb.
