Lead Time from Replenishment vs Purchasing Attributes

Hi Everyone,

We are investigating lead times a bit and wondered how others handle this situation.

You have the replenishment lead days which is based on the inventory business unit so the value can and will be different depending on the business unit. Then you have the lead time in purchasing attributes which is the same- regardless of where it's being shipped.

How do folks handle lead times for items that will appear at a location in 3 days (closer to the supplier) vs. the same item that is being delivered to a location that is only delivered to once a week- potentially arrives 10 days later when the lead time in purchasing attributes appears on the PO for the item.
