Read Only Tablespace backup question

Hello,

Currently i am trying to figure out the best solution for an issue i am face.  I currently administer a very large database(100+TB) operating on Oracle 11.2.0.4 using ASM.  Our backup strategy is using compressed incremental cumulative level 0's weekly and daily level 1's. We are trying to convert some of our oldest tablespaces to read only, take a backup of those tablespaces so that they are not included in subsequent backups.Our retention policy is set to a redundancy of 1. We have optimization turned on and so the read only backups are skipped in future backups which they are.
