How better load (1 time) transactions collected over downtime in R12 Receivables Upgrade

Having a long downtime (1-2 weeks) when upgrading Receivables to R12.1.3 - we need to load transactions right after the upgrade (post upgrade) saved during the downtime. What is the best way of doing it? Data loader vs. sql loader ?Dtailed plan/example anywhere? Options for Transactions/Receipts/Adjustments? Volume in average about 2000 transactions
