Configured Item as Parts list for another WO

We have a situation where one WO is created from a configured item. It's created and put into lot/loc inventory. Some time later, that Item will be used as a part on another work order. When I try to add the configured item to the parts list and issue it I always seem to get a configurator mismatch.

Please help.
