STOPING DEPRECIATION RUN FOR CATEGORY OF ASSETS

Good day all,

I have an issue with a client trying to stop depreciation run for category of assets. Below is the analysis of what they want:

The asset category was defined as land and building prior to now, but with respect to the international financial reporting standards (IFRS) that says Land should be separated from building even when the land is capitalised. How can i stop the depreciation run for Land , or how do i go about this process. Thank you
