Update expense account to null for huge volume of items

Hi team ,

I have a requirement where in to update 20k items , expense account should be made null. I am trying to implement the action plan from note id 1965861.1,

how ever when running item import I am getting invalid expense account error in the log file. Is there any work around to update expense account to null
