OM Defaulting Rules

We are on 12.2.6 and have made some changes to our OM line defaulting rules using the standard form however these rules are not taking effect even though we have generated the defaulting handler package.

I have read many of the published documents regarding defaulting rules and I am not clear if, when defaulting rules are modified, the OE_DEPENDENCIES_EXTN package needs to be modified as well. I do not find anything in the OE_DEPENDENCIES_EXTN package that is contrary to the defaulting rule we have changed. I can post the change we have made that is not working if that will assist in getting an answer.
