Cycle Count Questions

Hello,

We are in the process of implementing cycle counts based on the count date in the F41021.  We have a couple of clarifying questions -

1. If we run the cycle count by date and don't count some of the items / locations selected, do they get their dates advanced when the cycle count update runs or are they skipped because they were not counted?
   • If skipped, is there a way to identify "old" dates?
   • Should we be selecting items with a count date of less than or equal to current date to catch the missed ones?
2. How do new item location records get an initial count date?  Is it based on the items ABC rank and date the F41021 is created?
