Copy one asset to another?

Hi all-

I haven't found any way to do this, but figured it's worth checking with you all. Is there a way to copy a new asset from an old one (in the corporate book)? Our business needs to split some assets with multiple serial numbers into multiple identical assets. They're looking for a copy function but with full asset info and they're hoping for a quicker way to create numerous identical assets. I suggested creating asset shells using Web ADI but they say they'd still need to update info for each new asset.

Am I missing something or is there no easy way to duplicate an asset?
