Can we update just the bill-to address (and not the ship-to address) of a group of IBs using Mass Up

When modifying many IB records at a time with the Mass Update feature, can you change just the bill-to address, and leave the ship-to address as it was?  Or vice-versa?

Let's say you have 100 IB records, each of which needs to have a single, given bill-to address. However, each of these 100 records have a variety of ship-to addresses.  I don't want to modify the ship-to addresses; only the bill-to address.  I want to leave the ship-to addresses as is.

So far, when I test this in IB Mass Update, if I leave the ship-to address blank, it blanks out the ship-to address on all 100 records.  My objective is not to change the ship-to address, just the bill-to.
