Inventory Conversion

We are converting inventory from an old system. The old system had a configurator. We have about 100k configured items from that system in it's inventory. We will be using the E1 configurator after that portion of the business is migrated over. Is there a way to adjust in the configured inventory to jde from the old system?

Here are what I see as options

1)adjust them in as stock inventory using different item numbers(stocking type S instead of the new items with stocking type C)

2)create and complete configured work orders

3)manually create the lotn/locn records(P41024
