Retain Transaction Type does not work with Transaction conversion rate type - User and the transacti

Retain Transaction Type does not work with Transaction conversion rate type - User and if the transaction currency is same as Reporting currency. I have set Retain Transaction Type as 'No' and created a journal in the foreign currency (Foreign currency is same as reporting currency). I was expecting that when the journal will be created in the Reporting ledger, it will use the Default Currency Rate - Corporate and I will see the converted amounts in USD, but it created the Journal with the User Rate = 1 in the reporting ledger with the same amount as there is
