CAM versus SEM

Our IS business applications team is currently exploring potential solutions to aide facilities management department with the following.  The organization is pretty frugal we do not have licenses to CAM or SEM.  Prior to pitching the business case to acquire licenses further research is needed on our end.  There was a demo conducted; however it was put together by a non JD Edwards individual.  With that being said, I am reaching out to the community for guidance.

1) Administering preventive maintenance for owned and leased equipment

a) Track and report preventive maintenance activity

b) Place orders for repair parts while applying pre-approvals that apply to approval thresholds
