Using ODA GI and DB packages outside ODA

Good day.

Can we copy the GI and DB packages from the ODA_BASE to a non-ODA environment and cerate the GI and Oracle environment?

we ha an X7-2 HA ODA with ODA_BASE to insall DBSE2 databases.

I could able to copy the gi.tar.gz and db.tar.gz to another VM outside ODA without much difficulty. using the gridsetup i cleanly configured the Grid home, created the ASM disk groups etc.

after un-compressing and attaching the database home manually, i could able to run dbca to create the database.

but the issue is that, the database i created outside ODA is by default becoming enterprise edition database. whereas inside ODA the databases we create are standard edition 2 databases.
