In OAF forms, when user selects a date from calendar, it does not consider the localtime zone, instead its considering only GMT time.

This is happening through entire Oracle EBS version R12.2.6 which recently upgraded from R12.1.2.

The same was working fine in 12.1.2 even though the profile options or the user preference nothing was set for the timezone

Why was it working in 12.1.2 and not in 12.2.6 ?
