Using model job charts for Job Costing

Hi All, Greetings. We are about to embark on a new JDE implementation for procurment and job costing. One of the design consideration element is about use of model job charts.

We have a scenario @ client wherein in one of their non-JDE systems (that they would keep on using after the implementation as well) they have a cost code + cost type combination that could be a different set of numbers meaning same activity under two different projects. For Ex:

Cost Code – 1625 and Cost Type – 1234 is concrete labour for Project ABC

Cost Code – 1625 and Cost Type – 1234 is earthworks labour for Project XYZ

Howdy, Stranger!
