Siebel IP17 : High Availability : Gateway Server

HI,

Currently we are planning to upgrade Siebel public sector application 8.2.2.1 to IP 17.0. Currently the web servers are load balanced through F5, object managers are load balanced

through native load balancer with stand alone gateway. If some one from the community can throw some light on  the high availability for the following stacks?

Siebel AI (Formerly known as Siebel Web Server)

Siebel Gateway

Siebel Object Manager

In the community web for Siebel IP17, someone mentioned  "Coming IP18 will have full cluster setup for tomcat, zookeeper so zero down time high availability will be achieved".

Will this functionality be available in form of patches for IP17.x to achieve high availability without opting for third party clustering software.
