3rd Party Cost Share Add/Update on Grants side. Possible?
Greetings.
Our Grants Accounting department would like to have the ability to track third party cost share within the PeopleSoft Grants module. Currently, Grants Accounting has to rely on the SPAR(Proposals) team to enter the appropriate third party information. Sometimes, the need to either change and/or correct this data happens and would now be the responsibility of the post-award (GA) department to update this.
Per Peoplebooks we found
"The system does not transfer third-party cost sharing amounts into the award setup budget"
We can see that Proposals are created with 3rd Party Cost Share via Grants>Propsals>Maintain Proposals. Budget Tab. Period hyperlink->Details,CostShare, Justification.
