RUNUBE - works as expected in Batch mode but not Interactively

We have many RUNUBE jobs that work as expected, but they are all set to run Interactively.  This means that they return control to the calling program when they are finished.

I have created a new process that when I run it interactively it doesn't work correctly but when I run it in batch mode it works correctly.  I need it to run in interactive mode to return control when finished.   The new process runs from psexec from a remote server to the Wintel application server.

We are on 9.0 TR 8.98.4.12 on an AS400

Any suggestions?
