Asset Addition 'Transaction Date' different from DATE_EFFECTIVE

Hi,

We are currently migrating assets from one book to another. We found a few assets with an Asset Addition 'Transaction Date' (in the Asset Inquiry>Cost History window) different from that in the backend DATE_EFFECTIVE. Is this is data corruption?
