How to re-enable lost mpxio path when they are back at array level ?
Hi,
We are using a Virtual disk array (HITACHI OPEN-V) which provide 6 paths to LUNs.
Servers are running Solaris 11.2 x86 and Solaris 11.3 sparc and are using mpxio.
The array is configured in symmetric mode.
When we lose some paths due to connection failure or zoning re-configuration, they don't came back automatically when the problem is corrected at array level or zoning level.
This cause IO errors if the last available paths fail even if the problem was corrected for the previously failed paths but the OS haven't seen this availability.
If we run "cfgadm -la" all paths are back again, but we are looking for an automatic way of doing that, not a cron but a kernel feature like the path checker on Linux (
